https://woodychannel.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/chum.jpg750563ชุมชนเครื่องปั้นดินเผาด่านเกวียน ตำบลด่านเกวียน อำเภอโชคชัย จ.นครราชสีมา เป็นหมู่บ้านซึ่งมีร้านค้าเครื่องปั้นดินเผา เรียงรายอยู่สองฟากฝั่งและมีลำน้ำมูลทอดขนานอยู่ทางฝั่งทิศตะวันออกหมู่บ้าน ด่านเกวียนนั้นแต่เดิมพ่อค้าจากนางรอง – บรีรัมย์ – สุรินทร์ -ขุนหาญ – ขุขันธ์ เรื่อยไปจนถึงเขมรจะเดินทางเข้ามาติดต่อค้าขายกับพ่อค้าชาวโคราชและมักจะพักกองคาราวานเกวียนกัน เป็นประจำจนได้ชื่อ หมู่บ้านว่า” บ้านด่านเกวียน ” และในขณะพัก พ่อค้าเหล่านั้นก็มักนำดินจากสองฟากฝั่งลำน้ำมูล มาทำภาชนะใช้สอยต่างๆ เช่น โอ่ง อ่าง ไหปลาร้า ฯลฯ โดยลอกเลียนแบบจากชนชาวข่าวซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มชนที่อาศัยในพื้นที่แต่เก่าก่อนหลังจากนั้นเมื่อนำภาชนะเหล่านั้นกลับภูมิลำเนาของตน และด้วยคุณภาพพิเศษ ของภาชนะทั้งในด้านสีสันความคงทนต่อการใช้งาน จึงทำให้ภาชนะด่านเกวียนเป็นที่นิยมชมชอบของผู้คนจนได้รับการเผยแพร่ มากขึ้นเป็นลำดับ จนกระทั่งได้รับความสนใจยิ่ง จนกลายเป็นสินค้าหนึ่งในการค้าขายกันในยุคอดีตจวบจนปัจจุบัน ลักษณะเฉพาะของเครื่องปั้นดินเผาด่านเกวียนนั้นอยู่ที่ดินที่นำมาใช้ กล่าวคือดินด่านเกวียนเป็นดินเหนียวเนื้อละเอียดที่ขุดขึ้นมาจากริมฝั่งแม่น้ำมูล ในพื้นที่ที่ชาวบ้านเรียกว่า กุด หรือแม่น้ำด้วน ลักษณะเป็นลำน้ำที่คดเคี้ยว กัดเซาะตะลิ่งจนขาดและเกิดลำน้ำด้วนขึ้น ส่วนที่เป็นแนวกัดเซาะจะกลายเป็นแหล่งทับทมดิน ดินดังกล่าวนี้เป็นดินซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติพิเศษ ง่ายต่อการขึ้นรูปทนทานต่อการเผา ไม่บิดเบี้ยวหรือแตกหักง่าย และที่น่าสนใจอย่างยิ่งคือดินนี้เมื่อถูกเผาจะให้สีโดยธรรมชาติเป็นสีแดงซึ่งสันนิษฐานว่าน่าจะเกิดจากธาตุเหล็ก (Iron Oxide) หรือสนิมเหล็กที่มีอยู่จำนวนมากในเนื้อดินนั่นเอง ปัจจุบันได้มีการพัฒนารูปแบบผลิตภัณฑ์มาเป็นเครื่องประดับ ของตกแต่งบ้านและจัดสวน ตลอดจนเป็นสินค้าส่งออกไปขายยังต่างประเทศ ด้วยคุณสมบัติของดินด่านเกวียนเมื่อเผาออกมาแล้วมีลักษณะเป็นสีสัมฤทธิ์ ที่มีเอกลักษณ์ของความเป็นเครื่องปั้นดินเผาด่านเกวียน นอกจากนั้นหมู่บ้านเครื่องปั้นดินเผาด่านเกวียน ได้รับเลือกจากสำนักงานพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยว […]
